Sources, attribution and takedown

What third-party content we reproduce, within what limits, and how to have it removed.

Where the content comes from

Every event in the catalog comes from an identifiable source: a venue site, an organiser site, a municipal portal or a ticketing platform. Every card links back to that source, and the booking link points at the original seller, never at us.

What we reproduce and what we don't

  • Title, date, time, place, price and category: factual details, needed to make the event findable.
  • Description: a short excerpt to orient you, not the organiser's full text. To read it all, you go to the source.
  • Artwork: shown at reduced size, alongside a link back to the source. We do not relicense images and do not offer them for download.
  • We do not reproduce content from sources whose terms forbid it, or from paths their robots.txt excludes.

How we crawl

Our crawler identifies itself, honours robots.txt and rate-limits itself so it does not affect a source's performance. If you would rather we stopped indexing your site, write to us and we will exclude it.

Takedown

If you are a rights holder and want a title, description or image removed, write to rights@watodo.live with the WaToDo event URL, the specific content, and the right you hold. We remove or replace the content within 5 working days and do not require a formal legal notice. You can also ask for your site to be excluded entirely.

Corrections

For wrong details (date, price, room) the report button on each event is the fastest route — it reaches the same review queue.
